The Stealth Tweed pattern is a subtle selection of mid-olive green on a tan background with orange-brown cross line and dark-olive downline. The effect is most exciting - the stealth tweed blends into 'white grass', stubble and bracken alike, making it optimum for use stalking on the open hill, lowland gameshooting and wildfowling.
The outer fleece fabric is luxuriously silky to touch, and, being lighter than the olive green is, if possible, even more comfortable making the stealth tweed fleece a delight to wear. Not only do you look smart and look the part...but the stealth tweed gives you total protection from rain squalls, hail, snow and cold...making you feel snugly comfortable when all around you is wet and shivery.
2009 sees 16 seasons without leak using this exceptional system!
The inner fleece lining is olive green sandwiching and fully protecting a hydrophilic waterproof, breathable, windproof laminate that is solid (hence waterproof) - breathing chemically rather than the less efficient physical 'breathing' systems permitting 'breathing' in one direction and absolute refusal of water from the outside irrespective of the amount of pressure applied. The fabric also stretches which permits that extra bit of comfort when crawling or seated. Substantial in structure and easy to look after...all seams are double stitched and taped, with no reason to re-treat. Warm water was only as boiling water can the tape to raise or even the sandwich to break apart.
