JAN SIMAN PRODUCTS

Not only the CZECH NYMPH Specialist Materials, but possibly the easiest system of tying a variety of Flies - fresh & saltwater !!

Brief History:

Keen fly fisherman and avid 'thinker' Jan Siman  successfully represented his country of Czech Republic in numerous World Fly Fishing Championships. His fanatic love of fly fishing for Trout and Grayling in his native Czech lead him into fly tying and the design and development of a number of ranges of Dubbing Brush and Softdub. He regularly attends Fly Tying Symposiums in Europe and USA as well as operating his own manufacturing company, fishing tackle shop and fishing distribution business in Czech Republic.

Jan is a perfectionist and in developing his product line Jan has always sought to use the best of materials for ease of use, colour and representation. Many have sought to emulate him but very few have matched his quality. Listed below is a compilation of various dubbing brushes that comprehensively cover river trout, stillwater, salmon and even saltwater patterns. All are easy and quick to tie and some are even featured on his video. We have listed a number of UK shops stocking these products, and if you look on our events page you will see where and when you will have the opportunity of seeing these materials in use. Finally, look out for 'Fly of the Month' page which will illustrate some of these products in use.

Finished in a flash-free black matt, with the best of fittings and cork plus black aluminium reel  seats, the quality of workmanship can be seen in the trueness and seating of each joint plus the outstanding standard of varnishing.

There is a difference in the make-up of the Saltwater and  Freshwater designs with the latter being made up of 50 million modulus plus carbon resulting in an exceptionally light, powerful and very responsive action whilst Saltwater fish and fishing conditions demand a more robust taper, a more powerful butt section and carbon structure for strength and quick loading, plus oversized snake rings
